my HQ Bobbin Winder is not working correctly. When I thread it according to directions, the bobbin slides off the bobbin post. i have used it many times and have not had this problem before. Please help me.
Cherie, the pin that holds the bobbin has become compressed. All you need to do is take a flat head screw driver and place it between the two halves of the pin and gently spread them apart by twisting the screw driver. Just do a tiny bit and see if your bobbin will fit tighter, if not, do a bit more. Be gentle and only adjust in small increments til the bobbin fits on the pin snugly.
