I’ve had my Moxie for a few months now. At first I was intimidated and hesitant, but over this short time, we’ve become great friends. The Moxie is quick and responsive. There is a learning curve, at least for me, but I’ve seen vast improvement in my technique. The Precision and Cruise modes are great tools for beginners to use to gain confidence. Little by little, I’m moving more and more into Manual mode for FMQ and love it when everything clicks and I slip into the “zone,” with me, Moxie and and a great Spotify playlist. Pure bliss!

I was so excited when HandiQuilter announced the Moxie! It was the exact size that made sense for me. I rarely, if ever, quilt anything larger than a large throw size quilt, so the larger models and frames were too cumbersome to me. I got my Moxie recently, set it up myself with no problems using the BILT app. I am very happy with the 8 foot frame. It fits into one of my smaller bedrooms/extra rooms and still leaves room for a twin bed and some furniture. The Moxie comes with everything you need to get quilting…just add your fabric and batting! The machine is extremely well built and is simple to get started. HandiQuilter has so many great tutorial videos! I’m thrilled that they made a smaller model that fits the needs of so many hobbyists!

I have quilted my quilts on my standard sewing machine for years and thought it was great. Now that I’ve had a Moxie to use I could never go back to my sewing machine. It makes quilting a totally new experience. I appreciate the good tutorials that I can refer back to when I have a question. The set up went smoothly with the BILT app. It’s be a good experience learning how to quilt with the Moxie. I’m excited that this machine is more reasonable for quilters to purchase. It’s revolutionary for the home quilter.

I’ve had my moxie for 2 months and I’ve finished 5 quilts so far! It was easy to set up, I did it by myself using the Bilt app. And it was easy to start using it…and the price fit my budget!

I have quilted about nine quilts on the Moxie and I love it! It is so fun to be creative with my quilting. Every one I do makes be a little more confident about trying something new on a quilt. The quilting has become as important to the the design of my quilts as the choice of fabric and pattern. It is user friendly and a great size for the quilts I make. I love the freedom it gives to me to use my creativity and artistic design while quilting. Thanks Handiquilter for opening new doors for my quilts!
