HQ Amara 24 and the HQ Felting Foot

I loved working on my HQ Amara 24 with the HQ Felting Foot so much I wrote a book about it. I love the fact that the machine can do so much more than quilting just by changing the foot. I enjoyed inventing all the projects and learning how and what the felting foot can do. Felting is for people who especially love wool, roving and creating art. Creating art is fun and meditative with no rules. The HQ Amara 24 has just the right amount of throat space to accommodate my quilting and art projects.

I own a Handi Quilter Forte (now called the Amara 24) and I absolutely LOVE this longarm. It is a workhorse that runs well and stitches beautifully. Even though it is a large machine, it is just perfect for free-motion and ruler work as it moves smoothly with little effort. It works well with the Pro-Stitcher computerized system and I just love using it to make beautiful quilts!
