Is this the same as previous displays?
No. The TPC12 is a newly engineered 12” integrated touchscreen created specifically for Pro-Stitcher systems. It is designed for improved performance and long-term reliability in a quilting environment.
Why does the TPC12 cost more than a standard tablet?
The TPC12 is not a consumer tablet. It’s a purpose-built, industrial-grade touchscreen designed specifically for Pro-Stitcher machines and quilting environments. It includes specialized hardware, machine integration, custom firmware, and long-term support that standard off-the-shelf tablets simply aren’t designed to provide.
Why can’t I use my own computer or tablet?
Pro-Stitcher systems are designed to work with a dedicated, integrated display. Consumer tablets may not physically fit the mounting bracket, may lack the correct USB and communication ports, or may not deliver the proper power and current requirements for stable operation. In addition, third-party tablets are not optimized for Pro-Stitcher software, which can lead to inconsistent user interface behavior or reduced performance.
