Charlotte Warr

Charlotte Warr Andersen made her first quilt in 1974. Since 1983, her specialty is pictorial quilts made with applique and piecing techniques. She creates realistic and representational images from the unlikely medium of fabric. Along with her wearable art, Charlotte’s quilts have won many prestigious awards at national quilt and fashion shows.

Charlotte teaches locally, nationally and internationally. She has authored four books, encouraging students to use her techniques to draw out their own visions and express their own personal concepts while exploring the art form of quiltmaking.

With years of free-motion quilting experience, Charlotte enjoys the freedom of space her HQ Sweet Sixteen® provides. She enthusiastically shares her expertise with backgrounds, fills, embellishments and surface relief with quilters worldwide. She recently acquired an HQ Avanté®, easily transferring her free-motion skills to longarm quilting.

Charlotte is a lifetime native of Salt Lake City, Utah where she lives with her husband, one of her four children, and two dogs. Visit her website atwww.CharlotteWarrAndersen.com.
