Introduction to Pro-Stitcher and Ruler Work Basics
This is an all day class but is divided into two sessions.
Morning session is 10:00 – 1:00, Introduction to Pro-Stitcher Basics
Pro-Stitcher is an intuitive computer-guided quilting system designed especially for use with Handi Quilter long-arm quilting machines. User-friendly and simple to operate, the step-by-step process for each function is easy and fun. Whether finishing your own quilts or consider a quilting business, come see the elegant and precise quilting you can accomplish with Pro-Stitcher. New owners – start here!
Iris will review the fundamental features so that by the end of the class you will be familiar with features, what they do, and how to use them. With this information, you will be able to take advantage of Pro-Stitcher for your projects.
Afternoon session is 1:30 – 4:30, Ruler Work
If you love precision and consistency in your quilting designs, you will love using rulers and templates! These handy tools assist in placing designs accurately and stitching them out precisely. Learn to handle rulers and templates safely with the ruler base and Sure Foot, and how to achieve accuracy with the markings. The wide variety of Handi Quilter rulers will inspire you to new design heights.
Class times: 10:00 am – 4:30 pm
Lunch: included in class fee
Fee: $80.00
Please bring pen and paper to take notes. Also, bring your laptop with Pro-Stitcher Simulator installed. In class we plan to utilize the software. If you don't have Pro-Stitcher, not to worry. Just go to the Handi Quilter Pro-Stitcher website and download the free software onto your laptop.
In the past we have demonstrated unique projects which would enable you to learn new techniques, use your software to its fullest and perhaps a make a little money along the way. So, for you crafters, this project meets all those requirements.
