Join Handi Quilter’s National Educator, Debby Brown, as she shares tips, techniques and project ideas to help build your longarm quilting confidence. You won’t want to miss out as there is limited space, call us for more details and registration information!
Day 1: AM – Playing Around with Threads – Tensioning a longarm can be intimidating for new long armers, but this class will help you through that learning curve. Experiment with different weights and types of thread and learn how much fun all that thread can be!
Day 1: PM – Feather Foundations, Mastering the Basics of Feathers – Feather designs add a touch of class to any quilt. Learn to draw and stitch these beautiful elements in many different styles, from traditional to contemporary.
Day 2: AM – Quilt it your way! – Come to this workshop to explore how to create a quilting plan. We’ll look at ways to define the purpose and style of the quilt, build a theme, and choose threads to compliment the piecing of the quilt.
Day 2: PM – Fill your Quilts with Flair, Creative Quilting Designs – Interested in building a library of designs you can use with confidence? In this workshop, you’ll identify shapes you already love to quilt, learn how to create pathways to connect designs, and explore using different threads to really make your background fill quilting pop.
