Feathers, feathers and more feathers!! Feathers are so beautiful on a quilt. This is a fun class that will get you started. Let’s dive in and create quilted feathers. There are so many different types, and shapes. Once you know how to stitch them with a little practice you will have the confidence to put them on a quilt. You will learn the basics of creating free motion feathers with echoing. Feathers with back tacking. Fun and whimsical feathers. You will learn how to stitch feathers in different shapes and how to stitch feathers on a border.
Supplies:
-1.5 yards of muslin fabric for the front
-1.5 yards of muslin fabric for the backing
– batting a few inches larger than top
– Water soluble marking tool
– Note pad and pen
