Quilting Negative Space with Free Motion Fills

Got negative space? We’ve got solutions for you! This one-hour hands-on and lecture class breaks down negative space and how to accent these areas in your quilt top with basic free motion quilting designs. Play with pebbles, lines, and swirls to break up negative space, and take your quilt top from boring to spectacular!There will be a combination of lecture and hands-on machines, and will be taught on Amara 20’s with Pro-Stitcher Premium. All supplies provided.

Simple Computerized Custom Quilting with Pro-Stitcher

Learn how easy and fun custom computerized quilting can be! This one-hour class will cover simple techniques to add your personalized touch to your quilt tops. There will be a combination of lecture and hands-on machines, and will be taught on Amara 20’s with Pro-Stitcher Premium.Topics covered include: stitch outlines, making designs fit in spaces, repositioning, cropping, and more. All supplies provided.

Hand-Guided Quilting 101
Instructor: HollyAnne Knight from String + Story
Pro-Stitcher is amazing, but there’s something special about being able to “doodle” your own motifs on your quilt, too! Join HollyAnne Knight of String & Story to practice some foundational free motion quilting motifs: meander, loopy meander, swirls, and switchbacks. After just an hour together, you’ll understand how to move the machine, maintain healthy posture, and be excited to finish your own quilts on your longarm!There will be a combination of lecture and hands-on machines, and will be taught on Amara 20 machines. All supplies provided.
