works wonderfully, but be careful, it is plastic and will break.

Nice update on the original. My primary quilting foot. Etched lines are very useful. HQ needs to add etched circles at 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch from center of needle hole. Then it would be awesome!

Works great but cheaply made, mine broke after four quilts

Love it! Was my go to for everything using ProStitcher. But I wish the shank were metal. My shank broke after a year, so now I need a new one.

Works perfectly. Loved it! But…mine also broke after 5 quilts. I would have given higher score but feel a $50 foot should not break.

I have the original and LOVED it because it glides over any problematic high spots and won’t catch on any thing……..until the shank cracked and is now unusable. Seriously- I am very careful to attach the screw correctly and not overtighten it- but let’s face it- the use of this foot vibrates the heck out of it. I agree with other reviews- make this thing with a metal shaft so it does not break! So disappointed- especially since with the current design it appears that this problem will happen again.

Love this foot! We quilt an average of 1 quilt a day on two machines and have only had a problem with the very first foot we got…we tightened it too much (we think) and cracked the shank. The two we have on the machines now we have used for over a year almost every day! A metal shank would probably be less apt to break, of course!
