TRUCK DRIVER/PRODUCTION

Required Skills:

  • Ability to drive up to 10 hours per day and manage itinerary to arrive at schedule times
  • Experience with driving commercial vans, buses, and non-CDL box trucks
  • Clean criminal record and no driving violations within the past three (3) years
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Ability to:
    • Travel throughout the US
    • Lift 75 pounds several times within a work day
    • Climb a 10ft ladder
  • Basic computer and smartphone operation with the ability to communicate effectively through electronic communication systems

Job Requirements:

  • Driving trucks to and from events and trade shows throughout the USA
  • Loading and unloading fixtures, supplies and product at events and shows
  • Help with show booth construction and breakdown, which includes set-up and teardown, show booth fixture construction, help with machine repairs at the show
  • Properly loading and securing fixtures, machines and product for transport to next venue
  • Work with show and retail store management to facilitate the above duties properly
  • Submitting all expenses and receipts on a timely basis
  • Event Logistics
    • Assist the Events Manager and team in all duties to prepare product and fixtures for loading the vehicles in Salt Lake
    • Assist in loading the vehicles, counting product and other duties as needed to assist the Events Manager in preparing for shows and events
    • Proactively and effectively communicate with Events Manager on travel and schedules
    • Building and/or repairing show and event fixtures
    • Assist in insuring proper maintenance of vehicles is kept current
    • Ability to run or learn how to run a POS system at shows and professionally interact with customers
  • Production help – during office days, when not driving on an assigned trip:
    • Assist in the production of products, or assist with various warehouse projects as needed
Not required, but helpful to have:
  • Current Class A or B CDL license with appropriate endorsements for driving a 33,000 GVWR Truck – OR –
  • Interest in obtaining a Class A or B CDL as a long-term professional goal
  • Interest in obtaining a Passenger Endorsement for driving a 24-passenger shuttle bus

Additional skills preferred:

  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to take initiative in maintaining fleet
  • Knowledge of load distribution and proper load tie-down
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Expensify, and project management applications (e.g. Basecamp)
  • Interest in or ability to learn about company product lines and their use by the customer
  • Strong communication skills when working remotely with various team members

PRODUCTION / ASSEMBLY
