Video Content Specialist Position open, and is looking for a skilled photo, video and content professional to join our creative team!   • We are looking for a passionate creator who is comfortable behind the camera, can edit videos quickly, and distribute that content on social media channels with an objective-lead mindset

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create, edit and manage the production and distribution of video content consistent with our brand
  • Build and manage a rich video content calendar that attracts a passionate audience of quilters
  • Guide content creation toward greater engagement. Our videos should look good and perform well
  • Objective-driven distribution. A knack for user-focused titles, Youtube descriptions that inspire, and Facebook series that build an engaged audience
  • Use KPIs (engagement, reach, etc) to assess success of content series and help shift efforts away from lesser-performing efforts
  • Help execute a video content marketing strategy across the customer journey
  • Manage and maintain company owned video/audio equipment
  • Manage video production projects and workflow
  • Monitor and report on video content marketing metrics and drive improvement of the content strategy based on analytics
  • Collaborate with on-camera HQ Educators and the Marketing team
  • 1/3 of time will be spent shooting videos/photos in the studio. 1/3 of time is spent editing that content. 1/3 time is spent posting content, analyzing performance, and planning future content

Required Skills:

  • Highly creative, detail-oriented and deadline driven
  • Knowledge of crafting, sewing or quilting is a big plus
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of technical A/V equipment and setup
  • Advanced knowledge of photography/videography of products for ecommerce & retail
  • Confident working autonomously as well as with the close-knit creative group
  • Advanced knowledge of video editing software, i.e. Adobe Premiere Pro and will manage the video editing and review process
  • Responsible for managing filming studio located in North Salt Lake with access to a variety of current A/V equipment and resources

Job Requirements:

  • Create content that performs well. That includes participating in creative sessions to develop content plans and video ideas
  • Content coordination and scheduling with studio educators, talent, interviewees, product specialists, etc.
  • Occasional off-site or event-related shoots and general A/V assistance required
  • Reports to Director of Marketing, but works closely with our Studio
  • Quilting skills are not required, but we are looking for someone who can share the passion of our brand

The Staff Accountant is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
