Required Skills:

  • Must be knowledgeable about quilting designs for machine quilting

Job Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Must have knowledge of and experience with attention to detail in delivery due dates, tracking shipments delivery and inventory
  • Maintains ongoing communication with related departmental personnel to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials / services

  • Analyzing data regarding ordering patterns and projections

Job Requirements:

  • Follow-up with supply base to ensure on time deliveries using the forecasted report
  • Manage order delivery logistics and track shipments
  • Update internal systems with order and tracking information
  • Enters and processes all aspects of purchasing and receiving
  • Effective communications skills to actively engage suppliers and ensure they are performing to the Handi Quilter expectations and specifications
  • Works closely with accounting to ensure accuracy of all aspects of purchase order entry/receiving
  • Responsible for communicating with and contacting vendors/transporters regarding the fulfillment of purchase orders
  • Takes ownership for on time delivery for all POs, understands the urgency of having parts arrive on time

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • High volume of accounts payable transactions and journal entries with accuracy
  • Trial balance reconciliations
  • Month-end process and reconciliation tasks
  • Assisting with financial reporting
  • Working with other departments to resolve accounting related issues
  • Inventory related entries and reconciliations
  • And a variety of other duties as assigned

The successful candidate with have the ability to:

  • Manage competing priorities
  • Maintain an organized workflow
  • independently solve practical problems and interpret a variety of written and oral instructions
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information

Additional requirements:

  • A positive attitude
  • MS Office proficiency, including intermediate Excel skills
  • Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles

  • SAGE software experience a plus
  • A minimum of two year’s accounting experience
